Personal Computers (PC) Repairs Can Be

A Very Interesting Second Career

This is a perfect part-time or full time job for our proactive retiring program. The growth in this industry is tremendous.

As you can see there are PC’s everywhere and many devices do have personal computers functions, mobile phones, PDA’s, tablets, and others.

All these computers require assistances on how to use it and how to fix it when the users run into problems; software and hardware. There are not enough computer experts out there to do all these services for everybody.

When you have a computer problem at home, and need some help, see how difficult it is to get somebody over to help. This difficulty spells opportunity.

Mind you, when I say services, I mean all kinds of problem solving for the users; a helping phone call on how to set up a modem to connect to the Internet. This is a simple process for someone who knows, and is not intuitive to someone who does not want to know.

Or setting up memory disk back-up function for writers with lots of documents. And don't forget virus removal. Almost every computer catches virus sooner or later.

Laptops and notebooks are very popular today, and people carry them around everywhere. They also accidentally drop these delicate devices all the time. So, laptop repairs and notebook repairs are always needed.

I have a friend who lives in Boynton Beach, who is a baby boomer, and is doing PC repairs full time. Before the financial crisis, he made about 50 repair calls per week (house call included). Now you know that each house call could be worth about $50+ per call.

So multiply that by 50 and you get a good chunk of changes per week. Now this guy does not have computer engineer background, but he likes to fix things.

I just met him recently, and he said that currently, the repair calls are about 23 per week. This is during the current bad time.

That is all you need just having a yen to fix things, preferably small electrical stuff.

There are plenty of ebooks that you can follow.
